LOS ANGELES -- It's still not a platoon.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts still maintains he is not using his two young outfielders -- Joc Pederson and Trayce Thompson -- as two sides of a center field time share.
But Thompson is in the lineup again tonight against Marlins left-hander Justin Nicolino. Pederson has not started against a left-handed pitcher this season and has just four plate appearances against left-handed pitching -- one Tuesday night against Marlins reliever Craig Breslow.
"Joc had a good at-bat against Breslow last night so it's not like I'm pinch-hitting every time a left-hander gets in there," Roberts said Wednesday.
