Dodgers lineups: Catcher Austin Barnes optioned to Triple-A

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers will have another arm in the bullpen Friday night when they begin their three-game series against the San Francisco Giants.

Earlier in the day, they reinstated setup man Chris Hatcher after one day on the paternity list. Catcher Austin Barnes, who also saw time at second base, was optioned to Triple-A. The club already was carrying two catchers, A.J. Ellis and Yasmani Grandal, who returned from the disabled list this season.

"Austin is a nice young player," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "It's just hard to get him at-bats."
