Los Angeles Dodgers rookie pitcher Landon Knack returned to the majors this past week and got the start against the Los Angeles Angels. The Dodgers are dealing with several key injuries in their starting rotation, including Walker Buehler and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who were both placed on the injured list this month.
With these injuries, the Dodgers called up Knack again from Triple-A Oklahoma City. In his return, Knack once again made the most of his opportunity, pitching an excellent game.
Knack pitched five innings, giving up two hits, two walks, and zero earned runs. He also struck out two batters as he pitched his first scoreless game.
