It seems like signing pitchers to minor league contracts has become a daily habit for the Los Angeles Dodgers. According to the hurler’s social media account, José Adames has signed a deal with the Dodgers.
The 29-year-old right-handed reliever has spent eight seasons in the minor leagues. Adames began his professional baseball career as a member of the Marlins organization. He spent the vast majority of his six seasons with the Marlins in Low-A and High-A.
In 2019, Adames briefly played for the Reds organization on two different rookie-level clubs.
Last season, the hard-throwing righty played for the Red Sox on their Double-A (Portland) and Triple-A (Worcester).
