The Dodgers added another major league arm on a minor league deal on Tuesday. According to MLB Trade Rumors, LA signed left-handed reliever Robbie Erlin.
Erlin broke onto the major league scene with the San Diego Padres in 2013. Erlin posted a 4.57 ERA in 106 games with the Padres. He was used as a starter in 38 of those appearances.
The lefty became a free agent after six seasons with the Padres. Pittsburgh signed him to a minor league deal prior to the 2020 season. He pitched in just two games with the Pirates before the Braves selected him off of waivers.
