It’s hard to believe that Kenley Jansen has been closing games for the Dodgers for a decade now. But since getting his shot in 2010, Jansen has accumulated 304 saves over his career.
With his easy inning in last night’s Dodgers win over the Padres, Kenley moved into 26th all-time in saves for Major League Baseball. Not bad for a guy that did not start his professional career as a pitcher, and certainly not as a closer.
Kenley Jansen is now tied for 26th all time with 304 saves. He shares space with Jeff Montgomery.
