History was made on Thursday night in Game 3 of the NLDS between the Dodgers and Padres. When Justin Turner singled on a line drive to left in the 3rd inning, he didn’t just give Los Angeles the lead in the game.
That single to give the team the lead was Turner’s 64th postseason hit in a Dodgers uniform. With that hit, he passed former MVP winner Steve Garvey on the team’s all-time hit list, moving up to the top spot. In the history of this storied franchise, no player has ever done what JT just accomplished.
