Since 2014, Dodgers fans have got to enjoy third baseman Justin Turner perfect his craft as a major league hitter. The two-time All-Star has been a linchpin in the lineup for the better part of eight seasons. This year, Turner has made an an adjustment in his stance to help him see the ball better and help him get his bat to pitches in on his hands.
Turner has featured a slightly more open stance this season and after weeks of subpar results, he had his breakthrough on Friday night. The Dodgers captain launched a two-run home run to left field off of Tigers pitcher Tyler Anderson to give the Dodgers a 2-0 lead.
