Dodgers Joe Kelly Traded His Glove to a Fan For a Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead

Turns out, it’s not only fans going after Shohei Ohtani bobbleheads.

The Los Angeles Dodgers hosted Shohei Ohtani bobblehead night last week, which gave the first 40,000 fans at Dodger Stadium the chance to get a highly coveted Ohtani bobblehead. There was so much excitement for the bobbleheads that a huge line emerged outside Dodger Stadium more than eight hours before the start of the game.

Along with the fans, Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly became interested in obtaining a gold Shohei Ohtani bobblehead. Thinking there were only a limited amount of the gold version of the collectible, Kelly gave up one of his gloves for a gold bobblehead, only for the entire team to get the gold bobblehead shortly after.
