There was a common thread to Jimmy Rollins’ success in his first series ever against the Philadelphia Phillies, hidden in plain sight for all to see.
In the seventh inning of a tie game Monday, Rollins batted left-handed and hit a two-run single to left field. Wednesday, he doubled to right field hitting right-handed. Rollins later hit a home run of his own to left-center.
