The Los Angeles Dodgers lost another member of their bullpen, this time one who had temporarily joined as Ross Stripling was placed on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to Aug. 12) due to lower back inflammation.
It was one of the corresponding moves to the Dodgers activating Hyun-Jin Ryu off the 60-day DL. In order to create room on the 40-man roster for his return, the Dodgers transferred Tony Cingrani to the 60-day disabled list.
He’s been sidelined since June 7 because of a left shoulder strain, and therefore is already eligible to be reinstated. “It’s just kind of been slow sledding with the rehab and discomfort in the shoulder,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.
