Back in 2020, the Dodgers took a chance on Tommy Kahnle by signing him to two-year deal that is was $4.75 million guaranteed. However, it hasn’t really worked out for the Dodgers.
This whole season, the right-handed pitcher has struggled with a few injuries and trips to the injured list. He was finally activated in May, appeared in a few games, then returned right back to the 60-day-IL with elbow inflammation.
Prior to his return to the IL, he struggled through four innings this season with the Dodgers. The 33-year-old dealt 5 strikeouts but also allowed 3 hits, 3 earned runs, 2 homers, and posted an ERA of 6.
