Justin Turner was removed from the Freeway Series finale due to left groin discomfort, and Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he would likely be unavailable for a few days. That may be extended, but Turner should avoid a stint on the 10-day injured list.
The Dodgers had an off day on Monday, which gave Turner an extra opportunity to rest, however, he is still likely to miss the entire series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
“I don’t see him coming back any sooner than Friday in New York,” Roberts said. “As far as how long we give him, that’s kind of contingent on how he feels each day.
