The 2018 season has been an interrupted one for Justin Turner, who missed the start of the campaign because of a fractured left wrist suffered during Spring Training. The Los Angeles Dodgers struggled without their starting third baseman and eagerly anticipated his return.
Turner coming off the disabled list coincided with the team righting the ship beginning in mid-May. But Turner has yet been able to produce at his previous level, in some part because of lingering soreness in his wrist.
More recently, the 33-year-old has been sidelined by an adductor injury suffered during a pinch-hit appearance against the San Diego Padres on July 12.
