Dodgers Injury Update: Corey Seager May Return During Diamondbacks Series

While the Los Angeles Dodgers figure to make changes to their roster at the MLB trade deadline, they also can expect reinforcements from injured list, with Corey Seager among those expected to make a return.

Seager suffered a fractured fifth metacarpal in his right hand when he was hit by a pitch on May 15. The Dodgers were relieved by Seager not requiring surgery, but manager Dave Roberts estimated he would still be out upwards of two months.

Seager began to make progress toward returning before the All-Star break, only to start experiencing some soreness in his right hand as the level of activity increased.
