After a three game hiatus, Max Muncy is back in the lineup and hitting cleanup for the Dodgers.
In the homestand finale against the Oakland A’s last week, Muncy was drilled in the right wrist and was eventually removed from the game. Over the weekend, he revealed that his wrist “locked up” on him shortly after the hit by pitch and was barely able to start swinging a bat on Sunday.
Now he returns to the lineup and looks to help the Dodgers earn the series win over the Padres.
Muncy has one hit in four previous at-bats against San Diego starter Seth Lugo.
