GLENDALE, Ariz. – Hyun-Jin Ryu looked like his old self Saturday.
If you can’t remember what that looks like, it’s OK.
Ryu threw two scoreless innings in the Dodgers’ 8-2 spring training victory over the Angels on Saturday. It was his first start of spring training, and his first start anywhere since a disastrous outing with the Dodgers last July.
In the meantime, Ryu underwent a debridement procedure on his left elbow last year and worked through an injury to his left groin in camp. Ryu has made only 10 competitive starts anywhere since he had shoulder labrum surgery in May 2015.
