The Los Angeles Dodgers are facing some injury concern with Mookie Betts but they continued to dominate the Colorado Rockies on Saturday with a 9-2 win at Coors Field. Betts was a catalyst for the offense but Max Muncy hit two home runs and finished with a career-high five RBI.
Prior to being removed due to right hip irritation, Betts went 4-for-4 with three doubles and a home run. It was a third consecutive game in which he had three hits and a second straight opening things with a double to left field.
Betts then scored on Muncy’s RBI base hit, giving the Dodgers a 1-0 lead in the first inning.
