In what was their biggest series of the year to this point, the Los Angeles Dodgers took three out of four from the Arizona Diamondbacks to take over sole possession of first place in the National League West.
For the second straight game, it was Matt Kemp that provided the late-inning heroics off of Diamondbacks reliever Archie Bradley. With the Dodgers trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Alex Verdugo and Max Muncy drew walks to begin the frame against closer Brad Boxberger.
After Kikê Hernandez bunted both runners over, Bradley came in to face Kemp, who hit a big three-run home run against him the night before.
