The Los Angeles Dodgers received home runs from Justin Turner, Max Muncy and DJ Peters to help alleviate some pressure in a bullpen game and lead the team to a 4-3 win over Alex Wood and the San Francisco Giants.
Each of the long balls was notable on an individual level, with Turner hitting his second in the past three games. Turner’s home run during the Houston Astros series was his first since May 4, and after the win expressed confidence his mechanics were in a good place.
Turner’s blast gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead over the Giants in the third, but it was cut in half the next inning.
