The Los Angeles Dodgers relied on their power to defeat the L.A. Angels for a second consecutive night, this time by a score of 7-6 to earn the Freeway Series victory at Dodger Stadium.
With the win, it guaranteed only series loss for the Dodgers all season came at the hands of the Colorado Rockies.
The Dodgers lineup made Angels starter Julio Teheran work in the first inning as he was forced to throw 52 pitches, giving up three runs. Cody Bellinger brought the first run home on a bases-loaded walk, followed by an RBI single from Will Smith and then a run-scoring groundout by Joc Pederson.
