After dropping the first three games of the series, the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Miami Marlins 6-1 on Thursday led by a strong pitching performance and a big offensive inning.
The Marlins got on the board first with a solo home run in the first inning off the bat of Jazz Chisholm Jr. The score remained 1-0 until the fourth inning when Chris Taylor continued his All-Star season with a single to drive in Matt Beaty that tied the game.
Then in the fifth inning, the Dodgers offense exploded for five runs. Beaty started the scoring with the Dodgers’ fourth straight single to open the inning that drove in Urias.
