The Los Angeles Dodgers got back to their winning ways on Saturday evening when their offense broke out for 18 runs and 19 hits in a rout of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Dodgers got the scoring early when Joc Pederson hit a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first inning, giving him three long balls in as many games to begin the season.
Pederson wound up reaching safely in all five of his plate appearances on the night, going 3-for-3 with two walks, four runs scored and an RBI.
He was outdone by Cody Bellinger, though, as he hit two home runs of his own to give him three total on this season as well.
