The Los Angeles Dodgers got back in the win column on Tuesday night, earning a convincing 11-4 victory over the New York Mets at Dodger Stadium.
The night didn’t get off to a good start as Rich Hill gave up home runs to Jay Bruce and Michael Conforto, putting the Dodgers in an early 4-0 deficit. However, they wound up scoring 11 straight unanswered runs to end the night on a high note.
Austin Barnes, who has struggled at the plate this season, got the offense going by hitting a two-run home run off Mets starter Jason Vargas in the third inning.
