The Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly made a contract offer to superstar outfielder Juan Soto, according to Randy Miller of NJ.com. MLB Network’s Jon Morosi confirmed that report on Monday night.
Soto reportedly has offers from five teams, including the Dodgers. The Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, New York Yankees, and Toronto Blue Jays have also made offers to Soto.
According to Miller, all five teams presented contract offers to Soto and his agent Scott Boras during their meetings last week. Miller also reports that Soto is “believed to be seeking a 15-year deal worth more than $700 million.
