It was a rough night for the Dodgers in Pittsburgh on Monday. Coming off of 6 consecutive wins, facing off against the Pirates appeared to be an easy task for the powerhouse offense. That did not prove to be the case though, getting shutout through 8 innings before a last-minute Edwin Rios homerun in the 9th.
But the night could have been much worse. Chris Taylor fouled a ball hard off of his knee in the 6th inning and limped around for a while with the medical staff checking on him. He would stay in, but the Dodgers replaced him on defense the following inning.
