LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers open their fifth series of the season on Friday night at home, and are still looking for their first series win. Then again, a single game against the Diamondbacks would be a sign of progress.
The Dodgers were swept last week in Phoenix, after dropping their last six games against Arizona in 2017. In the regular season, of course. There was the little matter of the NLDS, which saw the Dodgers dispatch the wild card-weary Diamondbacks in three games.
