Gavin Lux tore it up in the minors in 2018 and 2019. His 2019 season was something out of this world as he hit a ridiculous .347 through 113 games. That kind of production allowed him to work his way up and earn a late season call up. While his bat didn’t necessarily make the jump with him, there were still some good results and a lot to be excited for.
Fast forward through 2020 and most of this season and that excitement has worn off. The Dodgers gave Lux every opportunity to hold down a spot in the lineup but he looked overmatched and uncomfortable at the plate.
