In fact, the 1:10 p.m. first pitch between the Dodgers and Cleveland Guardians was officially listed at 103 degrees Fahrenheit, a record.
According to Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, a heat stroke warning flashed on the stadium’s scoreboard:

Although attendance is typically high for Sunday day games in Los Angeles, those in attendance were seeking shade whenever possible, giving the appearance of a mostly-empty stadium.
