Heading into the 2020 season, Kiké Hernandez acknowledged the Los Angeles Dodgers could be facing a final run with the same core group that had been together for several years. Hernandez alluded to it as a potential ‘Last Dance,’ using the title from a critically acclaimed documentary that focused on Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
Six weeks out from 2021 Spring Training, Hernandez could either prove to be prophetic or his comments will have been much ado about nothing. The Dodgers have yet to move on any of their key free agents, which is a group that includes Pedro Baez, Hernandez, Joc Pederson, Blake Treinen and Justin Turner.
