Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman is expected to see action in Cactus League as the first baseman started a running progression, manager Dave Roberts announced Friday.

Originally, Freeman said he would not be participating in early spring training games, but the latest update signifies his recovery is going smoothly.
“I don’t think I will be in the games at the beginning. It looks like I’m going to start a running progression right when I get to spring training,” Freeman said at DogerFest.
