If there is one thing we’ve learned about Freddie Freeman in his short time with the Dodgers, it’s that he is very much a family man. That was a big factor in his free-agent decision, ultimately choosing to come to play very close to where he grew up.
That has allowed him to be around his family much more. And when the Dodgers played the Padres over the weekend, Freddie’s dad was right there to watch. Luckily, he got to see them roll past San Diego and put up a ton of runs.
But one moment in the third was very special.
