One current Dodgers All-Star can’t wait to play with Jason Heyward. That man is Freddie Freeman, an old teammate of Heyward but there playing days together dates back all the way to the minor leagues.
While many fans questioned the move, Heyward comes to the team as a low-risk option despite some names left on the market. The Dodgers have signaled in so many ways that they are committed to the roster they currently have and are looking to save however they can.
The savings landed Freeman’s old teammate with the Dodgers organization, a teammate he once played with for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
