Chants of ‘Freddie, Freddie’ on the backfield as the slugger took his batting practice in preparation for his first game action.
When he stepped into the batter’s box against the Reds for the first time, Dodgers fans let him know their appreciation. Those chants once again rained down from the stands, with echoes of one fan telling him how much he loved him.
