Wednesday was a rough day for the Dodgers as star right-hander Dustin May suffered an injury that’s going to sideline him for at least the next month.
May suffered a flexor pronator strain, which flared up during the first inning of Wednesday’s start. May underwent Tommy John surgery just two years ago, so it’s never good for an elbow injury to flare up again. However, his UCL is said to be intact, which is great news for May and the Dodgers.
Nonetheless, May is going to be sidelined for a little while at the minimum, and the Dodgers are losing yet another key piece to their rotation early in the year.
