In Freddie Freeman’s first game at Dodger Stadium, he received a standing ovation and a deluge of “Freddie! Freddie!” chants. The Freddie chants have bee commonplace at Chavez Ravine this season, but as it turns out, they aren’t just limited to the Dodgers home stadium.
During the Dodgers Sunday matchup against the Padres, the Freddie chants from the visiting crowd was audible before his second at-bat. After the game, Freeman was asked if he’s ever heard his name chorused at a visiting stadium. Luckily, the SportsNet LA cameras were rolling.
