LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers announced the 21 players they have extended non-roster invitations to spring training. The list includes their three top position player prospects and eight players with big-league experience.
The group of big-league veterans includes Charlie Culberson who played 34 games with the Dodgers last season (and hit the walkoff home run to clinch the division title), former Angels catcher Bobby Wilson, former Dodgers prospect Darnell Sweeney (re-acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Phillies this winter) and four pitchers -- Brandon Morrow, Steve Geltz, Patrick Schuster and Madison Younginer -- who could compete for spots in the 2017 bullpen.
