It looks as if Jaime Jarrín will be the calling Dodgers games for a little while longer. On Thursday, the Dodgers announced the 82-year-old will sign a two-year extension that will keep him calling games until 2020, which will be his 62nd with the ball club.
The Hall of Famer has been the Spanish voice of the Dodgers since 1959. Jarrín spoke on being with the club for at least two more seasons.
It seems like it was just yesterday that I was at the Coliseum in 1959 and started my work with the Dodgers, the time goes so fast.
