The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly the team with the most strength to acquire All-Star shortstop Willy Adames. Speculation has swirled that the Dodgers are on the hunt for a franchise shortstop and Adames certainly fits the profile.
The contract is expected to be a six- or seven-year deal between $150-200 million dollars. Although the Dodgers brought back veteran Miguel Rojas, he will be a backup option for the team.
The Dodgers still want a long-term solution at shortstop. Adames is a prime candidate after hitting .258 with 32 home runs and 112 RBIs in 2024 with the Milwaukee Brewers.
