It’s not a secret that the Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to add starting pitching at the trade deadline. The rotation has been decimated with injuries and return dates for some are yet to be determined.
The Dodgers have reportedly been having discussions with the Chicago White Sox about breakthrough starter Garrett Crochet but because the deadline is so unpredictable, they have reportedly also contacted the Detroit Tigers inquiring about Tarik Skubal.
Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported on Sunday that the Detroit Tigers are “engaged” in talks with the Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles on Skubal.
