Over the weekend, the Chicago Cubs signed former Dodger infielder Edwin Rios, officially bringing closure to his time in Los Angeles. Rios had played parts of the last four seasons with LA, but struggled to stay healthy and remain a consistent part of the team.
Last year, Rios appeared in just 27 games, before winding up the injured list. Rios was healthy again in September, but never got another chance with the big league club.
On Monday, Rios was at Cubs camp, and spoke to Jorge Castillo of the LA Times about the end of his tenure with the Dodgers.
