The Dodgers are really relying on Andrew Heaney to find something this year. With so much uncertainty around the starting staff heading into the season, getting him locked in is incredibly important. But if the year goes anything like his first start, they might have found something that will work.
Heaney tossed 4.1 innings and allowed just one run to come across. That came due to a lapse on defense though, Heaney did everything he could to keep it scoreless. But he struck out 5 batters and did not allow a single walk. He added 7 groundball outs and 5 via flyballs en route to the Dodgers’ win.
