Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is picking up right where he left off. The 2020 NLCS and World Series MVP is tearing it up at the plate this spring (.421/.522/.895). Seager already looks like he’s in midseason, or even postseason, form.
It’s only Spring Training, but his prodigious 1.416 OPS in 19 at-bats signals the once oft-injured Seager is ready for Opening Day and beyond. In the case of Seager, Dave Roberts wishes that Opening Day was this weekend.
