The Dodgers are finally starting to rack up the wins, and all while playing without some of their most important bats. Cody Bellinger has missed all but four games this season with a fracture in his leg, leaving the team without an MVP-caliber bat in the middle of their lineup. In addition to that, the Dodgers have also been without Zach McKinstry and Corey Seager for extended periods.
This past weekend, Dave Roberts was optimistic that the team would be getting back both Bellinger and McKinstry in short order, potentially by this upcoming weekend. And during Tuesday’s pre-game press conference, he all but confirmed that at least Cody Bellinger would be back up if he continued to progress and stay healthy.
