Dodgers’ Dave Roberts Provides Massive Injury Update on Gavin Lux, Miguel Rojas for World Series

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts addressed reporters on Tuesday afternoon via Zoom and gave updates regarding a few injured players.

First baseman Freddie Freeman should be ready to go for Game 1 of the World Series on Friday against the New York Yankees.

Roberts also stated that infielder Gavin Lux is expected to be a “full go” for the World Series after dealing with a hip flexor injury during the NLCS. Meanwhile, shortstop Miguel Rojas’s status remains unclear, as he missed the NLCS due to an adductor strain.

“I really feel that it was the right decision not having him on the CS [roster], given his health,” Roberts said.
