Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Bobby Miller arrived to camp Friday with a headache, per manager Dave Roberts. Miller was hit by a comebacker at 105.5 mph in the Dodgers’ Cactus League opener, but was able to exit the game on his own power in the top of the third inning.
Miller is currently in concussion protocol; however, the 25-year-old is in good spirits as he joked with Roberts that he’s “got a hard head.” The Dodgers will continue to monitor him, but Roberts said the team is hopeful he can start throwing again soon.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out,” Miller wrote on X.
