Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto is heading on the right path in his recovery. On Friday, before the first of three against against the St. Louis Cardinals, Yamamoto threw 17 pitches in his live bullpen session. Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic shared the news via Twitter/X.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto faced five hitters and threw 17 pitches today in his first live session since going on the IL. Dave Roberts said they cut it off there due to the heat.
Yamamoto said he continues to feel good. At least two more live sessions scheduled before potential rehab.
