After missing two months because of shoulder inflammation, starting pitcher Bobby Miller will return to the Los Angeles Dodgers next week.
Manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Friday that the team would activate him off the 15-day injured list to start against the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday. Coincidentally, that is the same day Clayton Kershaw will make his first rehab appearance with High-A Rancho Cucamonga.
Miller only started three games before the injury bug bit him. He began a rehab stint on May 26 and started four games in the minors.
Miller wasn’t perfect on his assignment, allowing 14 runs over 15 innings.
