The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to push forward this season through a new wave of injuries. Over the weekend, the team lost starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto and shortstop Mookie Betts for the foreseeable future.
Luckily for Los Angeles, the team has strong depth to fall back on, which has allowed them to stay ahead of the curve. Part of that depth is top-prospect-turned-left-fielder Miguel Vargas, who has been in and out of the lineup throughout the season.
Vargas has spent time between the majors and Triple-A, giving him another chance to show the organization what he can do.
