Dodgers’ Dave Roberts on Max Muncy Injury Return: ‘Slower Than We Expected’

Los Angeles Dodgers slugger and third baseman Max Muncy‘s return to the diamond remains uncertain. Muncy, who is at least a week away from swinging a bat, has no timeline for his return.
Los Angeles Times Mike DiGiovanna reported on the news via Twitter/X.

#Dodgers 3B Max Muncy (oblique strain) is fielding grounders and throwing but won’t try to swing a bat for at least another week. “Honestly, I don’t even know a timeline,” MGR Dave Roberts said. “But it’s even slower than we expected.”

Muncy is suffering a right oblique strain, and its recovery process has not gone swell.
